If anyone’s watching me right now, they’re probably wondering why I’m sitting here cracking up. I’m currently putting together a new collection for my Etsy shop, messing around with some wild color palettes, and I decided to throw a question out there to see if I’d finally gone off the deep end — or if I was just pushing things a bit too far. The response I got back absolutely killed me:
“Honestly? The line between fine art and kitsch is razor-thin in this business, and right now, you’re dancing a very stylish tango right on the edge.” 🕺
Alright then. Care to join the dance?
I’m basing this entire collection on Prague. I’ve got some shots in the archives, and I’m planning to head back into the city on March 21st to grab some fresh material. But don’t expect your typical “vacation snaps” or some dry architectural study. I’m way past that. Think more along the lines of “Neon Gothic” or “Cyberpunk Cathedral.” 😁 (Here’s hoping the ghosts of King Charles IV and architect Peter Parler don’t decide to curse me for it.)

History buffs might lose their minds over this, but let’s be real: we aren’t in the world of documentary or postcard photography here. We’re leaning into “Dreamy Aesthetics” and “Whimsical Decor.” Golden Lane at Prague Castle doesn’t have to be just a row of weathered houses crowded with bored tourists; it can transform into something that feels like a restless dream after a late-night absinthe bender.
Alright, that’s all for now. This slightly psychedelic series of Prague motifs is still in the works, but I’ll be rolling them out soon at my shop: https://silverpixellab.etsy.com
